Garden Grenades

Garden Grenades are handmade, eco-friendly seed bombs designed to make gardening easy, fun, and accessible for everyone. These come in packs of 4 grenades and each one contains a blend of seeds, compost, and nutrients, all encased in a thin, biodegradable clay shell. Just throw and let it grow—no digging required! Our grenades are perfect as gifts for gardeners of all ages, families, or anyone wanting to add colour and life to their outdoor space. We’re a team of passionate students from the North Shore, committed to sustainability and encouraging Kiwis to renew and refresh our native environment. By choosing Garden Grenades, you’re supporting a local, youth-led business and helping to promote biodiversity in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Local Student Run Business 
Garden Grenades is a school-run business under the Young Enterprise Scheme, led by George Glass (CEO), with directors Rhian Gates (Marketing), Liam Crampsie (Finance), Grace Frawley (HR), and Felix Baker (Operations). Our mission is to provide accessible gardening opportunities while championing sustainability, education, and kaitiakitanga (guardianship of the land).
